    Talking about expertise, are you more into European or Indonesian cuisines?

    When it comes to area of expertise, I’m more into European food. But then again, it will be such a shame when you are an Indonesian but you can’t cook any Indonesian food.

    Our local food are not in the least outdated, it is a matter of presentation and quality. So, we try to serve Indonesian food with modern style to make it more acceptable and presentable.

    By and large, Indonesian food are not less appealing compared to western food, the problem has been lack of promotion. But I believe, it is a whole lot different now. The foreigners welcome and eventually like our local dishes.

    So, we can keep our authentic traditional taste intact and serve it in a modern way, just like this Rawon and other dishes here.
