3. No Parking
Thamrin 10 provides basic facilities like sinks, toilets, and praying room. But still, these amenities are not sufficient to facilitate all visitors, especially during peak hours.
The culinary hub is so wide to the point the 54 tenants, the facilities, and the stage do not occupy even a half of its land. But still, the operator do not provide parking lot for visitors. Thank God, Thamrin 10 is easy to reach.
To reach Thamrin 10, you can take any Transjakarta routes that pass through M.H Thamrin Street, get off at Sarinah shelter. Also, you can take MRT and get off at Bundaran HI station then walk for 900 meters to get there.
4. Our Recommendation
There is a large variety of food in Thamrin 10; and it is impossible to taste them all in one visit. Thus, to make your visit efficient, Kitchenesia curates must-try delicacies at Thamrin 10.
For main course, we are fascinated by a Nasi Padang (Minang-style rice with various side dishes), but served in a bowl. Named Minang Pride, one set of nasi padang contains generous steamed rice, sautéed vegetables, spicy beef jerky, and ice tea. It costs you only IDR 40.000 (USD 3) for this delicious and fulfilling dish.
Among legendary delicacies sold in Thamrin 10 is Kopi Es Tak Kie, from one of oldest coffee shop in Jakarta that has been running since 1927. There is also Ketan Kemayoran selling their speciality dessert, ketan susu (glutinous rice with condensed milk).
