    Ahead is sauteed gai lan with fish cake that keeps your dinner interesting, yet healthy and quick. 

    Duration: 20 minutes

    Yields: 4 servings


    200 gram gai lan or Chinese Broccoli, halved

    5 raw fish cake (otak-otak), cut into three parts then fried

    100 gram sweetcorn seed

    1/2 onion, chopped 

    2 cayenned pepper, chopped

    1 teaspoon chili sauce

    2 teaspoon tomato sauce

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1/4 teaspoon sugar

    1/4 teaspoon white pepper

    1/4 teaspoon chicken powder

    150 water

    2 frying oil

    Cooking Steps

    1. Heat frying oil on medium heat. Add onion and chili pepper. Stir-fry thoroughly. 

    2. Add fish cake, sweetcorn seeds, and gai lan into pan. Stir-dry until fragrant. 

    3. Add chili sauce, tomato sauce, salt, white pepper, and chicken powder. Add water. Stir until fragrant and blend. 

    4. Serve while hot.
