Yields: 6 mugs
1.8 L water
10 grams sappanwood
2 teabags
2 lemongrass stalks, crushed
2 cm piece of cinnamon
100 grams ginger, crushed
200 grams sugar
1. Place all ingredients (except sugar) in pot. Bring it to the boil over small flame.
2. Prepare colander with a jug below it. When the water has boiled and is fragrant, transfer to colander to drain.
3. Add sugar to the jug, Stir with spoon until combined.
4. Serve Wedang Secang (hot ginger with sappanwood) while hot.
