    Kitchenesia.com - Many industries in Indonesia have suffered from the impact of COVID-19 pandemic at every level of its business. Especially freelancers and people who works in micro sectors in general, they have been affected by the crisis emerging slowly but surely over the past weeks. 

    FMCG company PT. Sasa Inti, that produces food seasoning products like Sasa, are supporting Indonesia's government to tackle the coronavirus spread. In its activities, Sasa focuses on helping the livelihood of various parties, from consumer, community, and workers. 

    Sasa distributes thousands packs of hand soap to people near Sasa's factory in Gending and Cikarang. Self-employed workers like motorcycle-taxy drivers are also given to prevent the coronavirus spread. 

    PT Sasa Inti also distributes lunchboxes with variants of Sasa products for medical workers in several hospitals. Cooperating with Atma Jaya University, the FMCG company shares sembako (staple foodstuff) through MNC Care and National Disaster Mitigation Agency (BNPB).

    To encourage social distancing, Sasa prepares a TV cooking show that exhibits easy and simple recipe to cook at home. The cooking show and recipes are also uploaded on Sasa's official instagram @kreasisasa. 

    CEO of PT Sasa Inti Rudolf Tjandra sees the positive side of the coronavirus, where everyone cooperates to tackle corona together, and helping those in needs through charity and volunteering activities.

    "Rather than overwhelming ourselves with negative news, let's use our energy to help those in needs. In this pandemic, we have seen altruism and tolerance among people," closed Rudolf.
