Javanese Fried Rice
Ingredients
500 grams white rice
1 chicken leg, boiled,fried,
3 cabbage leaf, coarsely sliced
1 scallion, cut into 1/2 cm thick
2 eggs
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons crispy shallotfor garnish
2 tablespoons cooking oilfor sautéing
ground spices blend:
1 large red chili pepper
3 curly red chili pepper
2 cloves garlic
4 cloves shallot
2 candlenut, toasted
1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon ebi(dried shrimp),
complements:
1 cucumber, sliced
1 red tomato, sliced
6 lettuce leaf
Cooking Steps
- Heat vegetable oil on the pan. Sauté ground spices until fragrant. Set aside the edge of the pan. Add eggs. Stir it until granuled.
- Add rice, sweet soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir well. Cook it until well done.
- Add in shredded chicken, cabbage, and scallion. Stir well.
- Remove it from heat. Serve Javanese fried rice with its complements.
