Ingredients
300 grams tenderloin beef,thinly sliced, crushed
½ tablespoon light soy sauce
1 cm ginger,grated
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili pepper powder
cooking oil for frying
coating ingredients
75 grams all-purpose flour
50 grams corn starch
¼ teaspoon salt
sauce ingredients:
4 cloves garlic,sliced
½ onion, diced
2 curly red chili peppers,finely chopped
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon white pepper powder
½ tablespoon corn starchdissolved in ½ tablespoon water
1 scallion, sliced diagonally
300 ml water
1 tablespoon cooking oilfor sauteing
Cooking Steps
- Marinate beef in the mixture of light soy sauce, ginger, pepper, garlic, and chili powder. Let it set for 15 minutes.
- Mix well all coating ingredients. Coat beef with the mixture.
- Fry beef in over medium heat until cooked.
- Sauce: sauté garlic and onion until fragrant. Add chili pepper, oyster sauce, ketchup, salt, sugar, and pepper. Stir well. Pour in water. Cook until boiling. Thicken it with corn starch mixture. Stir it until it is bubbling. Add scallion. Stir well. Remove from heat.
