    Ingredients

    250 grams ground beef
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    1 onion, sliced into long and thick pieces
    2 green chili peppers,cut into 1 cm round pieces
    2 tablespoons oyster sauce
    1 tablespoon ketchup
    ½ tablespoon sweet soy sauce
    ¼ teaspoon salt
    2 teaspoon black peppercorn
    ½ teaspoon sugar
    250 ml water
    1 scallion, sliced diagonally
    1 teaspoon sago starchdissolved in 1 teaspoon water
    2 tablespoons margarinefor sautéing

    Cooking Steps

    1. Mix well ground beef and salt. Form it into bite-sized balls. Set it aside.
    2. Heat margarine on the pan. Saute meatballs until it changes colour. Add in onion and green chili pepper. Stir it until fragrant.
    3. Add oyster sauce, ketchup, sweet soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Stir it well.
    4. Pour in water. Cook it until the sauce is infused to the ingredients. Thicken it with sago starch mixture. Cook it until the sauce is thickened.
    5. Add scallion. Stir well. Remove it from heat.
    6. Meatballs with Black Pepper Sauce are ready to serve.
