    Water Spinach and Shrimp Paste Stir-Fry

    Ingredients

    3 bunches water spinach(leaves and young stems only)
    3 large red chili peppers,sliced diagonally
    1 tomato, sliced lengthwise
    1 teaspoon salt
    ¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
    ½ teaspoon sugar
    50 ml water
    2 tablespoons cooking oilfor sautéing

    ground spices blend:
    1 teaspoon terasi (shrimp paste),fried
    6 cloves shallot
    2 cloves garlic
    3 curly red chili peppers

    Cooking Steps

    1. Sauté ground spices blend until fragrant. Add red chili pepper and tomato. Stir it until half-softened.
    2. Add in water spinach. Stir it. Add salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir it well.
    3. Pour in water. Cook it until all ingredients are well-cooked while the flavour and aroma are fully developed. Remove it from heat.
    4. Water Spinach and Shrimp Paste Stir-Fry is ready to serve.
