    Ingredients

    2 chicken thigh fillet, cut into 2x2 cubes
    1 chicken breast fillet, cut into 2x2 cubes
    1 teaspoon jeruk limau (sambal lime)juice
    2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce

    ground spices blend:
    3 cloves shallot
    1 clove garlic
    ½ teaspoon coriander seeds
    ¾ teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon brown palm sugar,finely chopped
    1 teaspoon jeruk limau (sambal lime)juice
    2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce

    Cooking Steps

    1. Marinate chicken with jeruk limau juice and sweet soy sauce. Let it set for 15 minutes.
    2. Mix chicken and ground spices blend. Stir well. Let it set for 1 hour in refrigerator.
    3. Skewer chicken with bamboo skewers.
    4. Grill chicken until cooked. Glaze it with the remaining ground spices blend when grilling.
    5. Sate Ayam Kecap (Soy Sauce Chicken Satay) is ready to serve. (yields 16 skewers)
