Ingredients

1 whole Chinese tofu

Oil for frying

Ingredients for sauce:

3 cloves of garlic

3 red cayenne peppers

100 grams of fried peanuts

3 tablespoons of shrimp paste

3/4 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon of brown sugar, shredded

200 ml of hot water

3 tablespoons of soy sauce

Ingredients for condiments:

3 pieces of rice cake, cut into pieces

150 grams of short bean sprouts

2 celery stalks, sliced ​accordingly (for topping)

1 tablespoon fried shallots (for topping)

25 grams of onion crackers

110 grams of pickled cucumber

Cooking Steps

1. Marinate the tofu in 1 teaspoon of salt and 150 ml of mineral water. Fried until its outer part evenly dry. Set it aside for awhile.

2. Sauce steps: puree garlic, red chili, and peanuts. Add the paste, salt, and brown sugar. Stir evenly. Add water and sweet soy sauce. Stir evenly again.

3. Cut Tofu with scissors and put it on a plate. Add rice cake and bean sprouts. Pour in the sauce. 

4. Pour in celery, fried shallots, and onion crackers on top of it. Serve with cucumber pickles.
