Yields: 10 bowl
250 grams kwini mango, diced into 1x1 cm size
250 grams black grass jelly, diced into 1x1 cm size
200 grams green grass jelly, diced into 1x1 cm size
1 1/2 tbsp kaffir lime juice
250 grams palm sugar, grated
100 grams white sugar
1 litre water
500 grams shaved ice
1. Place palm sugar, white sugar, and water in pot, and bring it to boil over medium heat. Boil until the sugars are dissolved and blended well. Let it chill in room temperature.
2. Transfer sugary water into a clean plastic basin, put kwini mango in it as well. Put it in the fridge for 1 hour until the water turns cold.
3. Take the basin out of fridge and divide it equally into 10 bowls. Divide black and greed grass jellies, shaved ice, and kaffir lime juice consecutively into the 10 bowls.
4. Serve Es Kweni Gula Merah (kwini mango cocktail with palm sugar) as an iftar dessert.
