Ingredients

400 grams ginger, burnt, peeled, then crushed

1.5 liter water

2 cm piece of cinnamon

2 cloves

2 cardamoms

3 tablespoons sugar 

1 tablespoon honey

2 tea bags, discard the bag

Cooking Steps

1. Prepare a pot and place water, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, and ginger in the pot. Bring it to boil over low heat. When boiled, transfer water to colander. 

2. Bring the filtered water to boil again over low heat. Add sugar and honety to the pot, and stir constantly until combined and dissolved. 

3. Add tea leaves to the bowl Stir constantly and cook until the water turns brown. 

4. Remove it to mugs. Serve wedang teh jahe (hot tea with ginger) immediately while hot.
