30 quail eggs, boiled, peeled, fried
150 gram fried peanuts, mashed
6 shallots, finely sliced
3 cloves of garlic, fried, mashed
2 large red chilies, finely sliced
3 pieces of orange leaves, sliced throughly
1 tomato, cut into small squares
2 tablespoons of soy sauce
1/2 tablespoon of salt
2 tablespoons brown sugar, shredded
400 ml coconut milk from 1 coconut
2 tablespoons of oil for sauteing
1 tablespoon fried shallots, to be poured in later on
1. Heat the oil. Saute onion, red chili, orange leaf and tomato. Cook until it smells aromatic.
2. Add peanuts and garlic. Stir evenly. Pour coconut milk while stirring it until it starts boiling.
3. Put in the quail eggs, soy sauce, salt, and brown sugar. Stir evenly. Cook until the sauce thickens. And it is ready to be served.
