Javanese Fried Rice

Javanese fried rice is very easy to make and can be served in your table within a few minutes. let's cook it with our easy recipe!

Javanese Fried Rice

Ingredients

500 grams white rice
1 chicken leg, boiled,fried,
3 cabbage leaf, coarsely sliced
1 scallion, cut into 1/2 cm thick
2 eggs
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon sugar
1 1/2 tablespoons crispy shallotfor garnish
2 tablespoons cooking oilfor sautéing

ground spices blend:
1 large red chili pepper
3 curly red chili pepper
2 cloves garlic
4 cloves shallot
2 candlenut, toasted
1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon ebi(dried shrimp),

complements:
1 cucumber, sliced
1 red tomato, sliced
6 lettuce leaf

Cooking Steps

  1. Heat vegetable oil on the pan. Sauté ground spices until fragrant. Set aside the edge of the pan. Add eggs. Stir it until granuled.
  2. Add rice, sweet soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Stir well. Cook it until well done.
  3. Add in shredded chicken, cabbage, and scallion. Stir well.
  4. Remove it from heat. Serve Javanese fried rice with its complements.
