Fried Rice with Thai Herbs

This fried rice with thai herbs is cooked with shrimps and mushrooms addition. it is even tastier when eaten with sliced omelet. with appetizing cilantro aroma, this dish is better enjoyed while warm.

Fried Rice with Thai Herbs

Ingredients

4 cloves garlic,roughly chopped
2 dried chili peppers, finely chopped
1 cm ginger,crushed
1 tablespoon ebi (dried shrimp),soaked in hot water, crushed, roasted, ground
150 grams shrimp,peeled, leaving its tail on, deveined
100 grams champignon mushroom,halved
500 grams white rice
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon white pepper powder
3/4 teaspoon sugar
7 sprigs cilantro leaves,coarsely chopped
2 tablespoons margarinefor frying
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice

toppings:
omelette from 1 egg and 1/8 teaspoon salt, finely sliced
1 sprig cilantro

Cooking Steps

  1. Heat margarine on the pan. Sauté garlic, dried chili pepper, ginger, and ebi until fragrant.
  2. Add shrimps. Stir until the color changes.
  3. Add mushroom. Stir it until softened.
  4. Add rice. Stir well. Add fish sauce, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir it until well-cooked. 
  5. Add cilantro leaves and lemon juice. Stir well.
  6. Remove this Fried Rice with Thai Herbs from heat. Serve with sliced omelet and a sprinkle of cilantro leaves.
