Beef Ribs Soup with Kidney Beans
Ingredients
700 grams beef ribs
1,750 ml water
2 scallions, cut 1 cm
150 grams carrots,sliced
100 grams red beans,boiled
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
4 cm cinnamon
3 cloves
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons cooking oilfor sauteing
ground spices blend:
8 cloves shallot
5 cloves garlic
1 teaspoon white peppercorn
Cooking Steps
- Boil beef ribs and water using a high-pressure cooker for 15 minutes. Remove from heat.
- Remove beef ribs from the broth. Reduce the broth to 1,500 ml.
- Bring beef broth to a boil. Put beef ribs back to its broth.
- Heat cooking oil on the pan. Sauté ground spices blend, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves until fragrant.
- Pour the sauteed spices blend into the boiling beef ribs. Add salt and sugar. Cook it until the liquid is bubbling.
- Add carrots and beans. Cook it until well done.
- Add scallion. Stir it well until fragrant. Remove from heat.
