Combining chicken with less expensive ingredients such as tofu and egg can be such alternative for your family’s lunch and dinner. for an example is this grilled tofu and chicken satay. it tastes delicious and is healthy, too!

Grilled Chicken and Tofu Satay

Ingredients

100 grams minced chicken
1 chinese firm tofu, mashed
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
4 egg whites
2 tablespoons sago starch
14 bamboo skewers

glaze ingredients (stirred):
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
1 tablespoon margarine

Cooking Steps

1. Stir chicken, tofu, light soy sauce, garlic, salt, pepper, and eggs.
2. Add sago starch. Stir well.
3. Put the mixture in a freezie ice plastic sleeve. Tie the end. Steam it over medium heat for 30 minutes until it is cooked and firm.
4. Remove the plastic and skewer the mixture.
5. Grill it on the pan. Glaze it with glazing sauce until browned and cooked.
6. Grilled Tofu and Chicken Satay is ready to serve.
