White Chinese Cabbage and Glass Noodle Soup
Ingredients
200 grams chinese white cabbage,sliced
15 hard-boiled quail eggs
3 cloves garlic,crushed
3 cloves shallot,crushed
¼ teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
2¼ teaspoons salt
½ teaspoon white pepper powder
1½ teaspoons sugar
2 scallions, sliced
50 grams glass noodles,soaked in iced water, drained
1,000 ml water
1 tablespoon cooking oilfor sautéing
Cooking Steps
- Sauté garlic and shallot until fragrant.
- Add quail egg and Chinese white cabbage. Stir well.
- Add chicken bouillon powder, salt, pepper powder, and sugar. Stir well. Add water. Cook until the liquid is boiling and all ingredients are well done.
- Add rice noodle and scallion right before removing it from heat. Stir. Remove it from heat.
- White Chinese Cabbage and Glass Noodle Soup is ready to serve.
