Chinese Okra Clear Soup
Ingredients
1 chinese okra, peeled,cut into bite-sized chunks
100 grams carrot,sliced diagonally
1 corn cob, cut into small cobs
1 tomato, cut into chunks
8 cloves shallot,sliced
3 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
1 egg white, beaten
1,500 ml water
1 scallion, chopped
Cooking Steps
- Heat water in a saucepan. Boil shallot until fragrant. Add Chinese okra, carrot, and corn. Stir constantly until boiling.
- Add salt, sugar, and chicken bouillon powder. Stir well.
- Add in egg white. Stir it gently and continuously until the egg white forms ribbons.
- Add scallion. Stir well.
- Chinese Okra Clear Soup is ready to serve.
