Chinese Okra and Yardlong Bean Clear Soup
Ingredients
2 chinese okras, angled skin removed,cut into 1 cm chunks
100 grams carrot,sliced into ½ cm coins
6 yardlong beans, cut into 3 cm pieces
4 cloves shallot,thinly sliced
8 cm finger root,crushed
5 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 tablespoon sugar
3,000 ml water
½ tablespoon crispy shallotfor garnish
Cooking Steps
1. Bring water to boil. Add shallot and finger root. Boil it until fragrant.
2. Add Chinese okra, carrot, and yardlong beans. Stir it well until softened.
3. Add salt and sugar. Stir it until boiling. Remove it from heat.
4. Chinese Okra and Yardlong Bean Clear Soup is ready to serve.
