Chinese White Cabbage and Tofu Soup
Ingredients
250 grams white chinese cabbage,cut into pieces
1 block chinese tofu,cubed into 2x2x2 cm pieces
3 cloves garlic,crushed
1 tomato, cut into small pieces
1/2 teaspoon chicken bouillon powder
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
½ teaspoon sugar
1 celery, finely chopped
2 scallions, chopped
1,500 ml water
1 tablespoon cooking oilfor sautéing
1 tablespoon crispy garlic,crushed for garnish
Cooking Steps
1. Heat cooking oil on the pan. Sauté garlic until fragrant. Add tomato. Stir it until softened.
2. Add tofu and white chinese cabbage. Stir well.
3. Add water. Cook it until boiling. Add chicken bouillon powder, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir it until all ingredients are well-cooked.
4. Before removing from heat, add celery and scallion. Stir well. Remove it from heat.
5. Chinese White Cabbage and Tofu Clear Soup is ready to serve with a sprinkle of crispy garlic.
