Cabbage Shoots Stir-Fry
Ingredients
250 grams cabbage shoots,cleaned, halved
2 cloves garlic,finely chopped
1/2 onion, diced
1 red chili pepper, sliced diagonally
1 carrot, peeled,sliced diagonally
100 grams straw mushrooms,halved
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
200 ml water
1/2 tablespoon cornstarchdissolved in 1 tablespoon water, for thickening
1 tablespoon cooking oilfor sautéing
Cooking Steps
- Heat cooking oil on the pan. Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant. Add chili pepper. Stir well.
- Add in carrot and mushroom. Stir well. Add cabbage shoots. Stir until slightly softened.
- Add oyster sauce, salt, and pepper powder. Stir well.
- Pour in water. Stir until boiling. Thicken it with cornstarch mixture. Stir it until the liquid is bubbling. Remove it from heat.
- Cabbage Shoots Stir-Fry is ready to serve.
