Super Spicy Vegetable Stir-Fry

Ingredients

100 grams brown shrimps,head removed
2 salam (indonesian bay)leaves
2 lemongrass, (white part only),crushed
1 cm galangal,crushed
2 carrots, julienned
100 grams cabbage,roughly sliced
100 grams white chinese cabbage,roughly sliced
100 grams string beans,sliced diagonally
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
1/4 teaspoon white pepper powder
50 ml water
2 tablespoons cooking oilfor frying

coarsely ground spices blend:
5 curly red chili peppers
3 red bird’s eye chili peppers
3 cloves garlic
6 cloves shallot

Cooking Steps

  1. Heat cooking oil on the pan. Sauté coarsely ground spices blend, salam leaf, lemongrass, and galangal until fragrant. Add in shrimps. Stir well.
  2. Add salt, sweet soy sauce, pepper powder, and sugar. Stir well. Add carrot, cabbage, chinese cabbage, and string beans. Stir until slightly tenderized.
  3. Add water. Cook it until all ingredients are well-done.
  4. Super Spicy Vegetable Stir-Fry is ready to serve.
