Oriental Beef Steak

Ingredients

400 grams beef sirloin,sliced wide into 1 cm thick pieces
600 ml water

marinade ingredients:
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
1 tablespoon sweet soy sauce
3 cloves garlic,finely chopped
¼ onion, finely chopped
½ teaspoon white pepper powder
1 teaspoon sesame oil

side dishes:
6 lettuce leaves
100 grams string beans,cut into 4 cm sticks, boiled, drained
100 grams carrot,cut into 4x1x1 sticks, boiled, drained
2 potatoes, wedged into 8 pieces each,fried until golden brown and done, drained

Cooking Steps

  1. Marinade: mix well Worcestershire sauce, fish sauce, oyster sauce, sweet soy sauce, garlic, onion, white pepper, and sesame oil.
  2. Marinate beef in the sauce. Let it set for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon margarine on a non-stick pan. Sear beef until it is browned on the outside.
  4. Pour in water and the rest of the marinade sauce. Cook it until the beef is well done while the sauce is thickened and reduced. Remove it from heat. Serve it with its side dishes.
  5. Oriental Beef Steak is ready to serve.
