Fried Beef with Chili Topping
400 grams beef tenderloin,sliced widely into 1 cm pieces
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
1 teaspoon fish sauce
½ teaspoon lemon juice
cooking oil for frying
chili topping ingredients:
2 cloves garlic
5 dried chili peppers,finely sliced
8 curly red chili peppers,roughly chopped
1 teaspoon fish sauce
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
¼ teaspoon sugar
2 small scallion, sliced
½ teaspoon lemon juice
2 tablespoons water
1 tablespoon cooking oilfor sauteing
1. Marinate beef with the mixture of salt, pepper, fish sauce, and lemon juice. Let it set for 15 minutes.
2. Fry it over medium heat until it is well done. Remove from heat and set aside.
3. Chili Topping: sauté garlic, dried chili pepper, and red chili pepper until fragrant. Stir well.
4. Add fish sauce, salt, pepper, and sugar. Stir until chili pepper is blended well with the spices blend. Add scallion and lemon juice. Stir well. Remove from heat.
5. Serve fried beef with its chili pepper topping.
