Beef Sausage with Padangnese Sauce
Ingredients
sausage ingredients:
300 grams ground beef
1 egg
½ onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
¾ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
1 tablespoon sago starch
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
stir-fry ingredients:
1 onion, cut lengthwise
3 cloves garlic,coarsely chopped
2 large red chili peppers,sliced diagonally, deseeded
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon chili sauce
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
50 ml water
1 scallion, sliced diagonally
2 tablespoons margarinefor sautéing
Cooking Steps
- Sausage: Mix well ground beef, egg, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add sago starch and all-purpose flour. Stir well.
- Stuff approximately 35 grams of sausage mixture it into a freezie pop plastic sleeve until it reaches 6 cm length of sausage. Repeat until all sausage mixture is used. Steam it over low heat for 25 minutes until firm and done. Remove from heat and let it cooled. Cut it diagonally.
- Sauté onion, garlic, and large red chili pepper until fragrant. Add sausage. Stir well.
- Add in oyster sauce, ketchup, chili sauce, and pepper. Stir well. Pour in water. Cook until done. Add scallion. Stir well. Remove from heat.
- Beef Sausage with Padangnese Sauce is ready to serve.
