Chili Pepper Sliced Beef
Ingredients
350 grams beef,sliced lengthwise
2 tomatoes, cut into small pieces
3 large red chili peppers,sliced with 1 cm thickness
3 large green chili peppers,sliced with 1 cm thickness
2 lemongrasses, crushed, sliced diagonally
2 lime leaves, midribs removed
1 teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon sugar
500 ml water
2 tablespoons cooking oilfor sautéing
ground spices blend:
7 cloves shallot
4 cloves garlic
4 candlenuts, toasted
2 cm ginger
Cooking Steps
1. Heat cooking oil on the pan. Sauté ground spices blend, lemongrasses, and lime leaves until fragrant. Add tomatoes and chili peppers. Stir until softened.
2. Add beef. Stir until it changes color. Add salt and sugar. Stir well.
3. Pour in water gradually. Cook until done and the sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.
4. Chili Pepper Sliced Beef is ready to serve.
