Vegetable Beef Roll
Ingredients
beef roll ingredients:
300 grams tenderloin beef,thinly sliced
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon chili powder
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
sauce ingredients:
½ onion, sliced lengthwise
1 tablespoon fish sauce
1 teaspoon ang ciu(chinese red wine)
¼ teaspoon white pepper powder
200 ml water
1 tablespoon margarinefor sautéing
vegetable stuffings:
1 bunch spinach leaves, picked from stems, blanched, laid flat one by one
150 grams carrot,cut into 6x1x1 cm stick, boiled
100 grams string beans,cut into 6 cm sticks, boiled
5 garlic chives for tying
Cooking Steps
- Rub beef with garlic powder, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Let it set for 30 minutes.
- Take 2 slices beef. Stack them together. Put spinach on top of it. Put carrot and string beans on a side. Roll and tie it with garlic chives.
- Heat margarine on the pan. Sauté onion until fragrant. Add beef. Stir until it changes color. Add fish sauce and ang ciu. Stir well.
- Pour in water gradually. Cook it until done while the sauce is reduced and absorbed into the roll. Remove from heat.
- Vegetable Beef Roll is ready to serve.
