Bubur Sagu Mutiara (Sago Pearl Porridge)
Ingredients
775 ml water
¼ teaspoon salt
2 pandan leaves, knotted
100 grams white sago pearls
½ teaspoon pink food coloring
100 grams sugar
75 grams nata de cocofor topping
sauce ingredients:
350 ml coconut milkfrom ½ coconut
¼ teaspoon salt
1 pandan leaf, knotted
Cooking Steps
1. Porridge: Bring the mixture of water, salt, and pandan leaves to boil. Add in white sago pearls and pink food coloring. Cook it until softened and well done. Add in sugar. Stir it until thickened. Remove from heat.
2. Sauce: boil coconut milk, salt, and pandan leaf. Stir it continuously until bubbling. Remove from heat.
3. Bubur Sagu Mutiara (Sago Pearl Porridge) is ready to serve with its sauce and topping.
